Hi my name is Dannia María. I was born in Tijuana and am currently based on the San Diego/Tijuana border. My work is driven by constant change and reflection upon self identity. I am currently interested in patterns and decoration of surfaces in parallel with the combination of textile, ceramics and painting. These connections have allowed me to gain a greater understanding of myself and of the spaces I occupy in the world.
